This entry concerns many projects successfully undertaken and delivered by a very effective community group working for the good of the local population. The judges noted that significantly the committee attributes much of the successful delivery of these projects, to the buy-in from the local community, following on from an extensive public consultation process.  The community is justifiably proud of a 3km walkway to the coast – a flagship initiative.
