Ireland’s esteemed community awards are set to grace the Strand Hotel in Limerick on Friday the 7th of November 2025, as Limerick City & County Council proudly hosts the IPB Pride of Place Gala Awards Ceremony. Organised by the peacebuilding charity Co-operation Ireland and sponsored by IPB Insurance, the IPB Pride of Place Awards spotlight and honour outstanding community endeavours. This year marks the 23rd consecutive year of the awards and we are now open for new entries. We look forward to receiving nominations from across the island again this year, exhibiting a wide variety of activities across the social spectrum. This year features a wide range of population categories, and other categories including Creative Communities, Inclusive Communities, Community Youth Initiative and Climate Action & Biodiversity, which also feature in the Cities competition.

Closing date for entries in the 2025 IPB Pride of Place Awards is Friday the 6th of June 2025.
